Maemo repository is up!

Document Actions
Now that I'm completely converted from PalmOS-based devices to Maemo platform (N800 rocks!), I've started my own little repository for the apps I created to compensate for the lack of such on Maemo.

So after I finally decided to part ways with PalmOS platform which seems to be dying and quite frankly was not-so-friendly for me to deveop, I found that I'm missing couple of apps from it. So what did I do? I wrote my own!

So here they are, all in little repo I'm trying to maintain to the best of my ability:

 Repo URL: http://makovey.net/maemo
 Distribution: diablo
 Components: free

Current apps included: dmnCalc and fuellog.

dmnCalc

This is a thumb-firendly calculator which is very simplistic and is geared towards people who just need to add 2 and 2 and not to do some scientific calculations. The default calc in Maemo seems to be both thumb-unfriendly (well, at least for my thumbs) and overcrowded with functions I never use. So I created my own! :)

fuellog

I've got addicted to tracking fuel efficiency of my vehicle using PalmOS-based pFuel . But nothing like that exists on Maemo. So I created my own! :)

Both applications are in semi-beta state with dmnCalc being more finished and polished and fuellog being in constant development and sporting only data entry/maintenance and no statistical tools yet (graphs and per-tank stats).

So take those for what they are and enjoy.
